Acceptance of these terms

By accessing tarotengine.com, creating an account, or installing the Tarot Intelligence Engine plugin, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use Tarot Engine or the plugin.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Business Game Changer ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of Tarot Engine.

The service

Tarot Engine is a personal intelligence platform that combines tarot card reading with longitudinal pattern tracking, Decision Tension Index (DTI) scoring, and AI-powered behavioural insights delivered through a persona called Seren.

The service is available in two tiers:

• Free tier: limited readings per month with basic DTI functionality, available without charge.
• Pro tier: unlimited readings, full DTI breakdown, Soul Audit dashboard, PurposeDNA layer, and complete Seren AI coaching mode, available for a one-time licence fee.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Where possible, we will give reasonable notice of significant changes.

Your account

To access the full features of Tarot Engine, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password and not share it with others
• Notify us promptly at info@tarotengine.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or are found to be inactive for an extended period.

Plugin licence

The Tarot Intelligence Engine plugin is sold as a single-site, one-time licence unless otherwise specified at the point of purchase.

What your licence includes

• The right to install and use the plugin on one WordPress installation
• Access to all Pro features as described at the time of purchase
• Future updates to the plugin for the major version purchased
• Email support for installation and technical issues

What your licence does not include

• The right to redistribute, resell, or sublicence the plugin
• Installation on multiple sites (additional site licences are available — contact us)
• White-labelling or removal of Tarot Engine or Seren branding without a site licence agreement

Refund policy

We offer a 14-day refund policy on Pro licences. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, contact us within 14 days of purchase at info@tarotengine.com and we will issue a full refund. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion.

Licence verification

Pro features are unlocked via licence key verification. Your licence key is tied to your Gumroad purchase. We reserve the right to revoke licences used in violation of these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Tarot Engine or the plugin to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems or another user's account
• Introduce malware, viruses, or any other malicious code
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform without our written permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the plugin beyond what is permitted by applicable open-source licences
• Use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the platform
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the service
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

Breach of these acceptable use provisions may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and licence without refund.

Your content

Any notes, journal entries, or personal reflections you enter into Tarot Engine ("Your Content") remain yours. You retain full ownership of Your Content.

By entering content into the Engine, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not use Your Content for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond delivering the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content does not infringe the rights of any third party and does not violate any applicable law.

You can delete Your Content at any time from your account settings. Upon account deletion, Your Content will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Disclaimer

Nothing on Tarot Engine constitutes:

• Medical or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Financial, investment, or legal advice
• A prediction of future events
• A substitute for professional consultation

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by English law, Business Game Changer shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, profits, revenue, business, or goodwill
• Decisions made in reliance on tarot readings, DTI scores, or any other output from the Engine
• Interruptions to the service, technical failures, or data loss

Our total aggregate liability to you in respect of any claim arising from your use of Tarot Engine shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law.

Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in Tarot Engine, including the website, plugin code, design, copy, Seren's persona and responses, the Decision Tension Index methodology, and all associated materials, are owned by or licensed to Business Game Changer.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our prior written permission, except as expressly permitted by your plugin licence or applicable law.

The Tarot Engine name, logo, and Seren branding are trademarks of Business Game Changer. You may not use these marks without our written consent.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at info@tarotengine.com. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if:

• You breach any provision of these terms
• We are required to do so by law
• We reasonably believe your use of the service poses a risk to us, other users, or third parties

Upon termination by us for breach, no refund will be issued. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimer, and liability clauses) shall survive.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Tarot Engine shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also have access to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in the service, legal requirements, or our business practices.

When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the service and may request account deletion before the changes take effect.
